eBay Sales

 

Throughout the course of the year, individuals and companies donate goods to the Foundation which may attract a greater value from a world-wide audience than might be obtained from the Silent Auction at SAGEEP. Those items are listed on eBay as either an auction item or with a listed purchase price. 

 

A manufacturer can often donate an item whose selling price might exceed what they could donate to the Foundation in cash. Since we are a non-profit organization, most donated items are tax-deductible.

 

At left is a Geonics EM-38 thtat was donated to the Foundation. It had a value of $5,000 and was auctioned through eBay to a buyer in New Zealand for $3,000.
